Parasites are Nutritional Pirates

You can put them in their place!

When parasites invade your body, they can cause some serious diseases from malnutrition to digestive disorders and beyond. Their survival plan involves hiding out in small crevices and stealing valuable nutrients from you in an effort to stay alive.

Parasites will go to great lengths not to be digested. They will pillage your internal terrain to suit their needs leaving your body under-functioning.

Note: Your nutritional state of affairs is reflected in your hairs!

Parasites also have the power to alter the amount of precious enzymes in your digestive tract. This makes it harder for you to properly digest and assimilate your food. If you have digestive issues, keep reading.

Parasites along with viruses and bacteria protect themselves by creating a tough armor called biofilm.

Imagine a bullet proof vest made of:

  • Carbohydrates
  • Digestive enzymes
  • DNA
  • Protein

As you know, hair is mostly protein. If parasites, viruses, and bacteria are plundering your protein to make their armor, your hair health is bound to look lackluster.

Macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and fat) are not the only treasure parasites pursue. They are after your micronutrients too such as:

  • Copper
  • Iron
  • Zinc

A healthy head of hair is dependent on copper. It is responsible for how well your hair stays on your head. Copper is known to grow genetic growth factors required for this activity. Pluck seasoning is made of grass-fed, grass-finished organs where copper is abundant.

Parasites feast on iron. You need iron for hair growth, thyroid health, and red blood cell function. A great source of iron is cooking with cast iron cookware or in Pluck seasoning. Sprinkle in your burgers, salads, soups, or smoothies.

Zinc is a building block for fabulous hair. If you’ve experienced some shedding, zinc slows down that process. It speeds up hair follicle recovery after a hair falls out, which we are all so grateful for. A great source of zinc is zinc lozenges (20 mg/serving) for best absorption.

To put these nutritional pirates in their place, consider cleansing and not just with any kit you find on Amazon or the local vitamin shop. Why?

Everyone’s hair thinning dilemma is unique to them. Each person requires different testing and approaches to get the special result they are looking for.
